Job summary

A leading rehabilitation services provider in Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will implement therapy programs to help patients regain independence and physical abilities. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited program, holds certification from the National Board, and is licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia. The role is in-facility, reporting to the Director of Rehab, offering a competitive salary of $28.00 - $31.00 per hour along with various benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Assess and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards

Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
