Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy. This role involves dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Florida licensure and 1+ year of experience are preferred.

Hours are 24 per week, Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm. The position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a nationwide health services

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Florida.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clinic staff and patients.
• Fill prescription orders and verify under supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify stock and update inventory in the system.
• Assist the pharmacist with operations and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties in the department.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
