Job description

The Atlas Network is a global sourcing and supply chain partner that helps brands bring custom products to market—from premium spirits packaging and promotional products to consumer goods, retail packaging, and manufacturing solutions. We combine North American client management with a global supplier network to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality products.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organized, proactive, and customer-focused Inbound Sales Lead to become the first point of contact for new business opportunities.

Position Overview

The Inbound Sales Lead is responsible for qualifying inbound opportunities, managing the early stages of the sales pipeline, and ensuring every prospective client receives a professional, timely, and consultative experience.

This person will own the front end of the sales process—from first inquiry through RFQ submission—before handing qualified opportunities off to the Account Management team for pricing, sourcing, sampling, and production.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys talking with people, and has exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management

  • Respond to all inbound inquiries via email, website, LinkedIn, referrals, and events.
  • Qualify new opportunities using a standardized discovery process.
  • Schedule introductory calls for Account Managers when appropriate.
  • Maintain rapid response times (same business day whenever possible).

RFQ Coordination

  • Gather all information required for quotation requests, including:
  • Product specifications
  • Dimensions
  • Materials
  • Artwork requirements
  • Target pricing
  • Timeline
  • Ensure RFQs are complete before submitting to the sourcing team.
  • Track RFQs through each stage until ownership is transferred.

CRM Management

  • Own CRM hygiene and accuracy.
  • Create and maintain all new opportunities.
  • Track follow-ups.
  • Maintain forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure no opportunity goes untouched.

Client Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact during the qualification phase.
  • Coordinate meetings between prospects and Account Managers.
  • Follow up on outstanding information required for quoting.
  • Maintain a professional and consultative client experience.
  • Prepare introductory presentations and company capability decks.
  • Assist with proposal preparation.
  • Help organize trade show and event leads.

What Success Looks Like

Within 90 days you will:

  • Respond to inbound leads within four business hours.
  • Qualify and process all inbound opportunities using Atlas standards.
  • Maintain 100% CRM accuracy.
  • Reduce RFQ turnaround delays by ensuring complete submissions.
  • Improve lead-to-quote conversion rates.
  • Allow Account Managers to spend more time closing business instead of administrative work.

Qualifications

Required

  • 0-2+ years in sales support, inside sales, customer success, account coordination, or project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and process driven.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM platforms.
  • Proposal management required

Preferred

  • Experience in packaging, manufacturing, sourcing, promotional products, or consumer goods.
  • Understanding of RFQ processes.
  • Familiarity with international supply chains.
  • Experience supporting B2B sales.
  • Additional languages
  • Experience working in international teams

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Loves talking with customers.
  • Is naturally organized.
  • Thinks proactively instead of reactively.
  • Notices missing information before others do.
  • Enjoys building systems and improving processes.
  • Is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing company.
  • Can work independently while collaborating across sales, sourcing, and operations.
