Job summary

Voto Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced IMS System Programmer to manage and support IBM IMS environments running on z/OS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with IMS, IMS DB, and IMS TM, and will drive installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance while ensuring high availability and robust operations.

The role requires strong production support skills, the ability to diagnose IMS-related issues, and performance tuning to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM IMS, IMS DB and IMS TM in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to install, configure, upgrade and maintain IMS systems and components.
• Strong knowledge of IMS subsystem administration and operational support.
• Solid understanding of z/OS environments including JCL, TSO/ISPF and SMP/E.
• Experience in IMS performance monitoring, analysis and tuning.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve IMS-related issues in production environments.
• Familiarity with DB2, CICS, RACF and MQ is a plus.
