Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an IMS Hosting - Overall Lead to coordinate onshore hosting operations from Alpharetta, GA or Wayzata, MN. The role requires 19+ years of experience and offers strong governance and automation initiatives for reliable service delivery.

Responsibilities include leading cross‑regional teams, managing critical hosting platforms, and ensuring continuous improvement with high availability and SLA adherence.

Responsibilities:

Lead onshore hosting operations and coordinate service delivery across global and regional teams to ensure consistent and reliable support.

Manage Windows Server, SQL, Oracle, and related hosting platforms to maintain high availability, performance, and operational stability.

Oversee incidents, changes, problems, risks, and operational escalations while ensuring SLA commitments and governance requirements are met.

Drive priority management, resource planning, workload allocation, and team accountability to ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement.

Promote automation, standardization, lifecycle management, and service reliability improvements while providing stakeholders with regular updates on service health, risks, and improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

Data Center Architecture: Ability to design, optimize, and govern scalable, resilient, and high-availability data centre infrastructure that supports business-critical hosting services.

Enterprise Architecture: Ability to define infrastructure standards, technology roadmaps, and architectural frameworks that align with business and operational objectives.

Hosting Operations Management: Strong expertise in managing Windows Server, SQL Server, Oracle, and enterprise hosting platforms to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.

IT Service Management & Operational Governance: Ability to manage incidents, problems, changes, risks, SLAs, and service governance processes to maintain operational excellence and compliance.

Infrastructure Automation & Continuous Improvement: Ability to drive automation, standardization, lifecycle management, and service optimization initiatives while improving operational efficiency and customer experience.

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000- $136,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
