Job summary

Bank of America in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced IMS DBA Analyst for a contract engagement. The role focuses on installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of IMS Database environments with hands-on work on Full Function, Fast Path, and HALDB.

Responsibilities include managing DBD, PSB, and ACB libraries and catalog structures; performing database allocation, maintenance and REORGs; and using IMS utilities such as DFSURGL0 and DFSUICP0 to support operations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience with IMS Full Function, Fast Path and HALDB databases.
• Strong knowledge of DBD/PSB/ACB libraries and catalog structures.
• Familiarity with backup/recovery and disaster recovery concepts.
