OCHIN, Inc. is seeking an Improvement Manager to guide strategic direction and performance improvement initiatives across the organization. You will work with subject matter experts and leadership to optimize processes and align with business goals.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and translate data into actionable recommendations while supporting remote work arrangements and national travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Six Sigma, PMP, or other Project Management Certification from an accredited educational institution preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SmartSheet preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar or relevant role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads strategic planning and alignment with organizational goals through dashboards and planning processes.
  • Drives process and performance improvement across workstreams and departments.
  • Analyzes data and translates insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Engages stakeholders and members to ensure campaigns and initiatives align with business strategy.
  • Leads cross-functional projects and collaborates across teams using standard tools and methodologies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Improvement Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic direction and performance improvement initiatives of the organization. This role works cross-functionally with subject matter experts and leadership to optimize operational processes and policies, identifying areas that drive alignment with business goals and enable the achievement of performance improvement objectives.

Essential Functions:
  • Strategic Planning & Alignment: Leads cross-functional planning and ensures alignment with OCHIN's strategic goals through optimized tools, dashboards, and annual planning processes.
  • Process & Performance Improvement: Drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports workstreams, and applies best practices to enhance operational efficiency and strategic execution.
  • Data & Insight Management: Manages strategic dashboards, analyzes data to inform decisions, and translates into actionable recommendations.
  • Stakeholder & Member Engagement: Aligns member-facing initiatives and campaigns with business strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and strategic impact.
  • Project & Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and support strategic projects, fosters collaborations across departments, and ensure consistent use of tools and methodologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

Work from home requirements are:

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment
  • High Speed Internet Service
  • It is a requirement that employees work in a distraction free workplace
  • Travel required up to 20% nationally for on-site Go Live support based on business requirements for OCHIN
  • (OR) Travel may be required nationally based on business requirements for OCHIN

OCHIN uses broadened pay ranges to support equitable and market-aligned compensation practices. Pay information by position level is listed below. The final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data.
