Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in import operations or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. CBP, FTR laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across levels.
• Proficient in Excel, data analytics and visualization.
• Preferred experience in highly regulated, high-tech or semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve import shipment issues with internal and third parties; escalate to management when needed.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvements; implement solutions with guidance.
• Review and resolve data accuracy issues such as valuation, country of origin, unit of measure, classification.
• Interact with internal and third parties to obtain supporting documents for import clearance.
• Ensure import activities comply with government laws and regulations.
• Define, enable, and operate processes and systems related to customs import controls.
• Maintain processes, controls, record keeping, and audit preparation for import entry.
• Apply quality principles to identify improvements and present options to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
