Job summary

Applied Materials in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Logistics Sourcing Manager to lead global sourcing for transportation, warehousing, and packaging. You will manage supplier relationships, run RFx, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization to build a world-class supply chain.

The role requires knowledge of international/domestic freight, warehousing, and packaging, plus strong project management and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or related fields required.
• MBA and certification by NAPM and/or APICS preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience evaluating and managing suppliers in a global supply chain.
• Experience across domestic/international transportation, warehousing, crating/packaging.
• Lean and Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Coupa sourcing (or similar) optimization tool experience preferred.
• Fluency in English with strong negotiation, project management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commodity & Supplier Strategy.
• Own Sourcing process and contract management.
• Own Supplier Relationship and performance tracking.
• Lead cost and quality improvement projects.

• Travel domestically and internationally as required (approx. 25%).
