Job summary

Bunzl California is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Import Hub to lead shipping and receiving staff in the Stockton area. You will ensure order selection and outbound/inbound functions are performed safely and efficiently, while monitoring processes and environmental conditions.

The role requires 3–5 years in shipping/receiving with supervisory experience preferred; a high school diploma is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in shipping and receiving; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Familiar with warehouse management systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to work 8–12 hours daily, standing on a concrete surface.

Responsibilities

• Ability to supervise a crew doing multiple functions in multiple areas of the warehouse.
• Supervise loading and verify all outbound shipments and all receiving functions.
• Communicate with all levels of management, as well as our customers via email or phone conversations in a clear and professional manner.
• Direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (i.e. operational, safety, administrative, etc.).
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Description

The Import Hub Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and controlling activities of the warehouse personnel assigned to the Shipping and Receiving departments. The supervisor will ensure order selection and shipping/receiving functions are performed in an effective manner. Monitors work processes and environmental conditions to ensure the safety of all employees.

Bunzl California salary range for this role is $70,304 - $80,000 based on experience, education and geographic location.
