Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, entry-level Import/Export & Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to build a career in international logistics, customs compliance, and procurement. This role is primarily responsible for supporting import/export operations while serving as a backup for procurement activities, with training and mentorship provided by senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate international import and export shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and international trade requirements.
  • Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, HTS classifications, and certificates of origin.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation or customs issues.
  • Support procurement activities, including creating purchase orders, expediting orders, maintaining supplier communications, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Serve as a backup for the Procurement team during absences or periods of high workload.
  • Maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on shipment status, delays, and documentation needs.
  • Assist with tariff classification research and duty drawback documentation as needed.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in import/export, procurement, or supply chain operations; internships, co-ops, or relevant coursework are welcomed.
  • Basic knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and import/export documentation, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Fluent in both Korean and English (spoken and written).
  • Prior internship, co-op, or coursework in supply chain, logistics, or international trade.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is based at our Federal Way, WA corporate office. Some coordination with our Pennsylvania and Minnesota locations should be expected. The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer and ERP system for the majority of the shift, and occasionally lift up to [25] lbs.
