Position Overview:

The Implementation Specialist II is a pivotal role within First Stop Health, responsible for managing and maintaining enrollment data files to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role will also provide support for Data Analytics with Outbound files as well, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of delivery. The role requires a deep understanding of enrollment processes, data management principles, and regulatory guidelines related to enrollment and utilization files. The role will report to the Vice President, Business Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation, maintenance, and updates of enrollment data files transmitted FROM clients.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of enrollment data in all files.
  • Implement file naming conventions and version control to facilitate efficient file management.
  • Perform data validation checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of enrollment data.
  • Conduct regular audits of enrollment files to identify and resolve discrepancies and errors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the Data Analytics team with validation for utilization data files transmitted TO clients.
  • Ensure enrollment files comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure client has completed appropriate contractual requirements prior to engaging with enrollment data.

Process Optimization:

  • Collaborate with developer teams to identify opportunities to streamline enrollment file management processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate enrollment file management practices to identify areas for optimization.

Training and Documentation:

  • Develop training materials and documentation for enrollment file management processes and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to team members on enrollment file management best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of enrollment file management processes and procedures.

Communication:

  • Communicate with Sales and Client Operations team members to gather requirements and ensure alignment on enrollment file specifications.
  • Provide updates on enrollment file status, issues, and resolution efforts to internal stakeholders and clients/brokers/vendors as needed.
  • Prioritize responsiveness to clients/brokers/vendors as inquiries are received, using clear, professional communication standards to provide responses within 24 hours.
  • Collaborate with external partners and/or support vendor calls on enrollment file-related matters as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS required.
  • Proven experience in enrollment data management or related role.
  • Strong understanding of ANSI 834 EDI transaction, data structures and file formats.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to enrollment data management (e.g., HIPAA).

  • Proficiency in data validation techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for both clients and colleagues.
