Job summary

Smartleaf, a Boston-area fintech, seeks an Implementation Project Manager to onboard client firms and lead multi-million-dollar FinTech implementations from architecture to go-live.

You will solve complex data integration, custodial API, and workflow automation challenges with financial engineers, balancing client and company objectives while following a defined project plan.

Qualifications

Position Overview

As Smartleaf's Implementation Project Manager, you will play a critical role in onboarding new client firms, while serving as a subject matter expert and point of contact while providing our clients with a successful and delightful experience.

Your primary objective will be to drive high-impact enterprise onboarding, leading multi-million-dollar FinTech implementations from technical architecture to go-live. You will solve complex data integration, custodial API, and workflow automation challenges alongside financial engineers. You will balance Smartleaf and client objectives while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and executing on a defined project plan.

Success in this role will lead to client implementations being completed on schedule and new clients extracting value from the system right away.

We strongly prefer candidates local to the Boston area.While office attendance is at the discretion of individual teams currently, we do find that onboarding and training greatly benefit from in-person interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for this role, we will be looking for the following:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field required.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience with enterprise SaaS implementations or project management. Prior experience in Financial Services or FinTech and experience with enterprise clients, and high ARR clients is preferred.
• Skills: You are organized, a great communicator, able to multitask, can prioritize competing demands to manage your time and responsibilities well.
• Characteristics: You are self-sufficient and work well independently. You are also personable and relationship-oriented. You are comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders, including executives.
• Trajectory: You are eager to learn and looking for a job with room to grow.
