Job summary

ADP in Norfolk is seeking an Implementation Team Manager to lead a dedicated team responsible for client implementations and maintaining project timelines.

You will coordinate with internal partners, mentor staff, and drive process improvements in a dynamic, inclusive environment at a Fortune 250 company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least five years of client services and/or implementation experience.
  • At least three years of people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily activities of the team to ensure work is completed according to scheduled deadlines with attention to quality standards, priorities and overall goals.
  • Oversee the use of standard process workflows and align with Business Units' strategic goals.
  • Function as a consultant and business partner to other groups within ADP.
  • Train and mentor team members and coordinate additional training as needed.
  • Track productivity and performance standards to ensure targets are met, especially during peak periods.
  • Serve as acting backup to the Director, providing leadership in the director's absence.
  • Manage escalated issues and provide direction.
  • Collaborate with peers to establish best practices.
  • Analyze team statistics and prepare reports for the Director.
  • Evaluate associates on performance and complete annual appraisals.
  • Develop and administer development plans and corrective actions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
  • Lead daily activities of the team to ensure that all work is completed according to scheduled deadlines with attention to quality standards, priorities and overall goals
  • Enhanced understanding and implementation of Business Units strategic goals. Oversee the use of standard process workflows by team
  • Function as a consultant and business partner to other groups within ADP
  • Train and mentor team members and identify development needs across the team, working Director to coordinate additional training as needed
  • Track various productivity and performance standards to ensure that established levels are achieved, especially during critical activity periods
  • Serve as an acting backup to the Director, providing leadership, guidance and direction to team members in the absence of the director
  • Manage escalated issues and provide direction.
  • Collaborate with peers to establish best practices
  • Analyze team statistics and prepare reports for the Director
  • Evaluate associates on performance and complete annual performance appraisals.
  • Work in collaboration with associate to establish Individual Development Plans.
  • Develop and administer corrective action and performance improvement plans.
  • Hire/Fire authority in conjunction with Human Resources.
  • May have budgetary responsibility.
  • May have oversight of Workforce Management to include scheduling, and succession planning.
  • Participate in task forces, strategic initiatives, stretch assignments and collaboration opportunities with other business units
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least five years of client services and/or implementation experience
  • At least three years of people leadership experience

  • Proficient using Microsoft OfficeCPP or FPC certification
  • Proficiency and in-depth knowledge of all pertinent ADP HR, Payroll and Benefits policies and procedures
  • Prior leadership training

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. We offer the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Short-and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation for this role is USD $86,600.00 - USD $161,600.00 / Year*

*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
