Job summary

Vantaca is seeking an Implementation Consultant for Payments in Wilmington, NC. You will own the full onboarding lifecycle for Vantaca Pay clients—from pre-go-live setup through 60-day post-launch adoption—and remove friction at every step. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure customers log in, stay engaged, and understand fee changes.

The role emphasizes training delivery, proactive communication, and data-driven adoption metrics to drive customer success and NPS goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in implementation, project management, or related client-facing function.
• Ability to manage complex onboarding with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Stripe setup, KYC onboarding, and portal configuration for each client launch.
• Diagnose and resolve restricted account issues blocking go-live.

• Drive homeowner adoption through proactive outreach and follow-up.
• Track 30-60 day post-launch adoption metrics and elevate blockers.
• Serve as primary escalation point for implementation-related issues.

Overview

Vantaca Pay is our embedded payments platform processing billions annually and scaling 2x+. Originally launched to give homeowners a modern way to pay assessments, it's now evolving into a full payment ecosystem spanning multiple modalities, deeper core platform integration, and B2C services, amenity payments, and marketplace rails.

As Implementation Consultant for Payments, you'll own the full onboarding lifecycle for Vantaca Pay clients - from pre-go-live setup through 60-day post-launch adoption. Your job is removing friction at every step: unblocking restricted accounts, ensuring homeowners log in and stay engaged, communicating fee changes, and delivering training that sticks. You'll work closely with our cross-functional Vantaca Implementation and Customer Success partners, and internally as a member of our Financial Services operations team.

Expectations for Success

• Ensure 100% on-time customer implementations
• Successful onboardings driving 60%+ homeowner portal engagement post-go live
• Ensure KYC compliance upon go live, limiting restricted bank accounts
• Successful trainings driving customer NPS > 50

Requirements

• 2+ years in implementation, project management, or related client-facing function at a software/fintech company or technical consulting firm
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex onboarding with multiple stakeholders
• Track record of owning customer outcomes from launch through stabilization
• Advanced Excel skills and strong data management capabilities
• Comfortable learning new software systems quickly
• Proficiency with project management and communication tools (Asana, HubSpot)
• Exposure to automation tools, AI workflows, and technical tools (e.g., SQL)
• Clear, professional communication with clients and internal teams
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent launches

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience and qualifications. Vantaca offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina and Principal; Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts; a 401(k) plan with company match (up to 3% after one year, with Vantaca covering all administrative fees); and at no cost to you: life and short term disability insurance, telemedicine through Teladoc, and an Employee Assistance Program providing 24/7 access to counseling, financial planning, legal services, and family support resources.
