Description

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for delivering high-quality knowledge transfer services to clients allowing them to use Tyler hardware and software products efficiently and effectively to achieve daily operations. The knowledge transfer services can be on-site, or via webinar. The incumbent consults and partners with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of workflow, business/technical requirements and needs to ensure that the knowledge transfer addresses client’s needs. The Consultant ensures that the transition to Tyler hardware and software is completed according to predetermined timelines and establishes a positive baseline for the new relationship between the client site and Tyler Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead remote and on-site discovery workshops to identify business objectives, functional requirements, stakeholders, dependencies, and implementation risks.
• Analyze current-state processes and translate approved requirements into future-state workflows and software configuration decisions.
• Configure Tyler Technologies warehouse and commissary applications and hardware in accordance with client requirements, implementation standards, and recommended practices.
• Perform fit-gap analysis, document decisions, and coordinate approved resolutions with product, technical, and project resources.
• Develop process maps, configuration documentation, functional requirements, decision logs, work instructions, and client-facing implementation materials.
• Coordinate application dependencies, interfaces, environments, access, and technical readiness with internal and client technical teams.
• Create test scenarios and lead or support system, integration, and user acceptance testing; document results and manage defects through resolution.
• Deliver role-based training for administrators, subject-matter experts, and end users using demonstrations, exercises, and supporting documentation.
• Learn, operate, troubleshoot tablets with Tyler applications installed.
• Prepare tablets for dissemination to incarcerated individuals for use with Tyler applications.
• Assist in the development of cutover and go-live readiness plans, confirm completion criteria, and communicate risks, issues, and decisions to project stakeholders.
• Provide on-site or remote go-live, troubleshoot functional issues, and coordinate escalation when technical or product assistance is required.
• Support transition to client operations and support teams by documenting open items, ownership, and post-implementation recommendations.
• Monitor adoption and solution effectiveness after launch and recommend configuration, workflow, or training improvements.
• Maintain accurate project records and provide timely status updates on milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, decisions, and action items.
• Build productive relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams while managing expectations and encouraging accountability.
• Travel to client locations as required for discovery, configuration, validation, training, go-live, and stabilization activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or comparable work experience.
• Typically a minimum of one year experience as an Associate Implementation Consultant or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of principles and concepts in the discipline for which knowledge transfer will be based is desired.
• Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer skills.
• Experience implementing or supporting warehouse management, inventory, commissary, order-management, or related enterprise applications and hardware, ie; tablets, barcode scanners and laptop computers.
• Familiarity with Tyler Technologies products or software used by correctional, detention, or other public-sector organizations preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity and ease with computer systems and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Valid driver’s license.
