Job summary

A technology consulting firm in Biddeford is seeking a Software Implementation Consultant to support technology projects. ATX, located in Biddeford, ME, provides technology consulting services to high-growth businesses throughout the US. Our services include technology strategy, software selection, software implementation, business process improvement, business intelligence, system integrations, and executive dashboards and reporting. Our clients include construction, professional and financial services firms, non-profits, facility services, and other industries.

ATX has been named one of the best places to work in Maine and we are excited to expand our team. We have an immediate need for a Software Implementation Consultant with enterprise software implementation experience to work within our Technology Consulting practice.

Candidates for this position should have hands on software implementation experience. Relevant experience may include prior work as a software implementation consultant or experience gained as an internal business analyst or software super-user who has configured and implemented systems within a company.

Experience with Facilities Management, Field Service, Construction or Accounting software applications is strongly desired. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of relevant software implementation experience and be interested in working in a fast-paced, growing consulting firm. We are looking for a hands-on implementation consultant who can work provide implementation support services including software configuration, data migration, data analysis, process documentation, testing, and project management support.

Candidates must be comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting working on several projects simultaneously. Highly motivated individuals who see themselves as independent thinkers and problem solvers with a thirst for learning will succeed at ATX. A strong attention to detail with the ability to understand the big picture are required.

The successful candidate will be able to engage and advise clients in multiple industries. Assigned tasks may include:

• Implementation support services including design, testing, documenting, and data migration support
• Functional implementation support, including process improvement and redesign (accounting and operations processes)
• Data migration support, including cleansing, mapping, and design
• Ability to learn new software platforms and train end users
• Ability to assign and oversee work of other project resources
• The preparation, review, and editing of client deliverables using PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio
• Other tasks as needed

This position is located on-site in Biddeford, Maine. Resources are expected to be available to meet in person and work in the office.
