Job description

Ready to take your career global? Every successful payment solution starts with a great implementation. As an Implementation Analyst at Global Payments, you will work directly with clients to bring technology and business process solutions to life. Your work will help clients move through conversion, setup and launch with the right functionality, configuration and knowledge to achieve their goals.

What you’ll own
  • Drive successful client implementations by contributing to system setup, configuration and conversion activities that align functionality with client requirements and create a strong foundation for launch.
  • Build configuration expertise by reviewing scope documents, understanding preset options and comparing system parameters across regions, enabling accurate decisions during implementation and issue resolution.
  • Protect data and configuration accuracy by validating mapping against client configuration plans and completing field-level verification before conversion.
  • Strengthen implementation quality by participating in first occurrence testing, including end-to-end transaction testing, statement delivery, loyalty updates, interchange qualification monitoring and reject validation, depending on the solution.
  • Resolve issues with a structured approach by learning root cause analysis, documenting technical issues clearly and escalating them to the right product or system integration teams when needed.
  • Create confident client experiences by building knowledge of system functionality, educating clients and contributing to training that prepares users for a successful transition to long-term support.
  • Build trusted partnerships by working with clients and internal teams, keeping implementation priorities on track and navigating different objectives to reach practical outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • Turn implementation insights into better solutions by capturing client experiences, maintaining accurate implementation metrics and dashboards, and sharing feedback that can improve products and processes.
What you bring
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. Global Payments will consider additional relevant experience in place of a degree.
  • Relevant experience in business, information systems or finance, with 2 or more years preferred. We also welcome you if you are early in your career and bring the right skills and mindset.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze information, identify practical solutions and learn new systems, processes and concepts quickly.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stay focused in a matrix-managed environment.
  • Clear communication and facilitation skills, with the confidence to work with clients and internal teams, keep conversations focused and move toward agreed outcomes.
  • The ability to manage scope and competing objectives, using sound judgment and negotiation skills to reach consensus and deliver results within agreed timeframes.

It’s a bonus if you have

  • Experience with the payments industry is strongly preferred.
  • A collaborative, curious approach and the willingness to learn from experienced analysts while building your own subject matter expertise.
About the team

You will learn from experienced analysts while building expertise across system configuration, data mapping, testing, troubleshooting and client education. You will work across teams and gain hands‑on experience in a global payments environment where every implementation gives you a new opportunity to learn and grow. In this role, you’ll create successful client outcomes by helping configure new environments, validate data and functionality, resolve issues and prepare clients for long‑term success. You’ll build trusted client relationships, develop your expertise and influence improvements through what you learn during implementations. Your work will help turn complex technology into practical solutions and shape the future of commerce.
