Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Shift Supervisor for the Implant Department to lead a skilled team in maintaining state-of-the-art production equipment and driving quality, efficiency, and cost improvements.

You will monitor tool performance, analyze trends, and coordinate daily workload while ensuring adherence to SOPs, OCAPs, and safety standards. Cross-training on ion-implantation and related processes is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; technical degree preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of semiconductor experience desired.
• Knowledge of Implant, RTP, and/or etch processes and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tool status and performance daily.
• Review FDC/Tool trend data to determine root cause of recurring issues.
• Interpret datasets and distinguish trends relative to Implant process control.
• Coordinate and lead team meetings and assign daily workload.
• Ensure SOPs, PTPs, and OCAPs are utilized for safe and cost-effective operation.
• Analyze alarms/interlocks data to identify issues and oversee troubleshooting.
• Develop and improve SOPs, job aids, OCAPs, and related docs for efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
• Analyze particle failures related to assembly and components.
• Use Fishbone and 5 Why analyses to guide solutions across toolsets.
• Willing to cross-train on ion-implantation and related equipment.
