Job summary

AMIkids Aspen - Columbia, SC is seeking an Activities Instructor to lead and coordinate experiential and recreational activities for students. The role includes supervising activities, implementing the AMIkids Way and Positive Youth Development, and maintaining safety and records to support student growth and learning.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 4 years of related experience and certifications in Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of related experience (e.g., aquatics instruction, ropes course).
• Ability to obtain Lifeguard and Challenge Course certifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach student assigned activities.
• Implement AMIkids Way and Positive Youth Development in all interactions.
• Maintain activity plans and coordinate with Program Manager/Director of Operations.
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment and progress toward goals.
• Attend CPR and First Aid training and crisis intervention as required.
• Transport students and perform driving duties as needed.
