Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) supports adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings, building life skills, handling daily living tasks, social engagement, and behavior management.

Weekend shifts run 9:00am–9:00pm, totaling 24 hours weekly, with training provided for Level 1 Medication Aide certification. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of experience, and a valid MO driver's

Qualifications

At least one year of work experience or self-employment.
Valid unrestricted driver's license at hire with ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license by the end of 60-day introductory period.
Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided)
Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required)
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
Complete documentation accurately and on time
