Petticoat Schmitt Civil Contractors Inc seeks a Project Engineer to support our Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant division in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves planning, coordination, and execution of plant construction projects in our service area.

The ideal candidate has extensive civil construction project engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, with strong MS Office and project management tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in civil construction project engineering, construction management or related environment.
• Experience with water and wastewater treatment plant construction strongly preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, preparation and execution for water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects.
• Assist with production planning, quantity tracking and cost forecasting to support profitability.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents and field teams to meet milestones.
