Job summary

Connecticut Foodshare is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support day-to-day operations at the Wallingford warehouse, ensuring accurate picking, staging, receiving, and loading.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years progressively responsible experience in warehousing or related field.
• Experience in general warehousing operations.
• Pallet jack and forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picks and stages orders for distribution to branches and member agencies.
• Stores product (dry, freezer, cooler) properly.
• Receives and unloads shipments and loads trucks.
• Inspects donations and reports issues to Warehouse Manager.
• Counts and completes required paperwork accurately.
• Assists with inventory and quality control.
