Job summary

Community FoodBank of New Jersey is hiring a Warehouse Associate to move products to staging and storage areas per CFBNJ safety rules. You will select, transport, verify orders, and assist in offloading while maintaining paperwork accuracy.

This role emphasizes teamwork, basic math for inventory, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a controlled environment. The position offers an hourly range of $23.00 to $31.00, with benefits including health coverage, paid holidays, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• One year of warehouse or product distribution experience preferred.
• Proficient with stand-up reach truck or similar industrial equipment.
• Able to perform inventory counts with basic math.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Move inbound and outbound products to appropriate staging or storage areas as directed, in accordance with CFBNJ safety procedures.
• Select orders accurately and timely by locating and transporting all orders to the staging or loading areas for pick-up.
• Check and verify all orders against order pick sheet for accuracy and correctness; report any order discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist in the offloading of inbound products and supplies and move to the appropriate staging and storage areas.
• Review all associated paperwork for accuracy.
• Perform daily consolidation of product when required to ensure storage space and overall area organization.
