Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking qualified teachers for grades 6-12 who demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and strong classroom skills. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant, with a mature faith and an ability to communicate effectively within a faith-based program.

Responsibilities include training, lesson planning with LifeWise curriculum, maintaining accurate records, and promoting the program's mission within the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy’s beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters; prepare materials for substitutes.
• Keep classroom organized, safe, and engaging, aligned with LifeWise policies.
• Communicate with the program director and school personnel; build relationships with volunteers.
