Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated Bible teacher for grades 6-12. The candidate demonstrates deep Bible knowledge, strong teaching abilities, and active church involvement.

Responsibilities include using the LifeWise curriculum, participating in annual training, maintaining attendance and rosters, and fostering a classroom culture that is organized, engaging, and redemptive. Collaboration with staff and ongoing learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the 'What We Believe' section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization
• Maintain accurate student attendance records and class rosters
• Communicate with program director and school personnel; build relationships with volunteers
