Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides treatments for minor acute illness and patient examinations.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests as needed.
• Administers injections and immunizations; manages wounds and infections.
• Counsels patients on therapeutic regimens and wellness.
• Develops patient management plans and maintains records.
• May supervise ancillary staff and ensure continuity of care.
• Prescribes medications and refers to specialists as appropriate.
