The State of West Virginia is seeking a Transportation Financial Specialist 2 who will report to the Financial Division and perform full‑performance, highly specialized work under limited supervision. This position requires independent judgment in interpreting and adapting policies and guidelines, and performs related work as required.

Promotion/qualification notes apply: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent experience as Transportation Financial Specialist 1 and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Substitution: Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, budget, or business may be substituted for the required training/education through an established formula.
