Job summary

Modus Transportation is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to handle day-to-day dispatch, ride coordination, partner agency and community communications, and fuel tracking within Director of Operations guidelines.

The role emphasizes execution of scheduled rides, escalation of non-routine requests, and collaborative teamwork with the Director of Operations. Strong organization and trauma-informed, person-centered approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass a background check.
• Dispatcher, customer service, or transportation/logistics experience is helpful but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and promptly respond to driver needs and communications.
• Monitor and promptly respond to passenger needs and communications.
• Monitor and promptly respond to community inquiries.
• Continuously track location of drivers for efficiency and safety.
• Schedule and assign rides following routing and driver-assignment procedures.
• Notify drivers of route changes and schedule updates.
• Elevate non-routine requests to Director of Operations.
• Maintain proactive communication with partner agencies and communities.
