Job summary

Therapeutic Health Services (THS) is hiring a Substance Use Disorder Professional to serve as the primary contact with participants, conducting screenings, evaluations, and developing treatment plans. The role includes individual, group, and family counseling, and coordinating intakes across MAT branches.

Travel between locations may be required, with emphasis on confidentiality and adherence to THS standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Social Services/Sciences or related field, plus two years' experience in counseling, case evaluation and staffing presentations and record keeping OR Associate Degree plus three years' experience in counseling.
• Maintain Substance Use Disorder Professional certification per WAC and possess the SUDP credential.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in chemical dependency, family dynamics, and counseling.
• Drug-free and out of treatment for a minimum of three years prior to employment and no misuse of alcohol or drugs while employed as a Substance Use Disorder Professional.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary contact with participants; responsible for screenings, evaluations, assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual, group, and family counseling.
• Performs intake interviews/assessments for all MAT branches.
• Travel to various locations may be required.
• Coordinates the assignment of new recent intakes with the local SUDP supervisor.
• Coordinates and communicates with Patient Care Representative to ensure optimal intake and assessment scheduling.
• Provides ongoing evaluation of individuals through collection and synthesis of bio-psychosocial information.
• Complete and submit all BHO paperwork.
• Demonstrates competencies reflecting THS standards of practice.
• Maintain confidentiality and work with diverse populations.
