Qualifications

• A minimum of 64 semester hours and preferably holds a valid Kentucky teaching certificate.
• Has demonstrated an ability to work and communicate effectively with students and staff.
• 2.45 GPA required

Responsabilités

• Report to the principal or school secretary upon arrival at the school building.
• Review with the principal or designated person all plans and schedules to be followed during the teaching day.
• Maintain, as fully as possible, the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which he/she is assigned.
• Follow the lesson outlined and described in the lesson plan or plan book as prepared by the absent teacher.
• Assume responsibility for overseeing pupil behavior in class and, if appropriate, during lunch and recess periods.
• Report, in writing, on the form provided by the school secretary, the day’s activities at the conclusion of each teaching day.
• Follow all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
• Perform other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the supervisor.
