Responsibilities

Provides health care services to students and participates in medical examinations.
Cooperates with school staff to address health, social, emotional, and physical needs of students.
Administers immunizations, first aid, and maintains student health records.
Counsels students on healthy habits and wellness.
Promotes OSHA standards and first-aid/CPR training to maintain a safe learning environment.
Monitors medication dispensing in accordance with school policies and proper documentation.
Verifies student identity and dosage instructions before dispensing medications.
Collaborates with office staff, principal, and parents for medical exclusions.
