Job summary

AVIAN is actively seeking a Journeyman Strategic Communication and Multimedia Specialist to support Naval Air Systems Command’s PMA-207. You will craft communication products for internal and external audiences and lead messaging for public-facing initiatives, with an emphasis on initiative and attention to detail.

The role requires a BS/BA in a communications discipline, 3–10 years of experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. On-site work and occasional travel are expected.

Qualifications

• The candidate will hold a BS/BA in a related field and have 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience supporting NAVIAR programs is preferred and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic communications and multimedia products for internal and external audiences.
• Create and implement communications plans; advise leadership on messaging.
• Produce briefs, press materials, social posts, articles, and award packages.
• Coordinate with public affairs and media, manage inquiries and audits.
• Design multimedia outputs: infographics, logos, web content, and displays.
• Prepare leadership for interviews, media training, events, and protocol activities.
