Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans to address the unique needs of each resident.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatments to improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on health and wellness topics, disease prevention, and management options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
