Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evaluation and treatment for patients with speech and language challenges in a national inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will assess, plan, implement, and document outcomes; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; maintain CCC and state licensure; and contribute to compassionate care that helps patients regain communication and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment when needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
