Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer personalized speech and language rehabilitation for patients. You will contribute to a supportive, high-tech environment within a national leader in post-acute care.

Requirements include current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with field experience.

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or must be obtained.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
