Job summary

Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and deliver individualized voice and communication therapies. This role focuses on helping patients overcome speech and language challenges in a supportive inpatient setting.

You will document progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and contribute to a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality rehab care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Bachelor's degree in related field with experience

CCC - Certification of Clinical Competence

CPR certification
