Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient setting. You will develop personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients communicate more effectively.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, CPR (or within 30 days), and a master’s degree (or bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
