Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan and administer individualized speech and language therapy for patients. You will document progress and adjust treatments to meet patient goals, contributing to a nationally recognized rehabilitation team.

Qualifications include state licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree is preferred (Bachelor’s degree with field experience acceptable).

• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
