Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide compassionate, high-quality therapy for patients, using cutting-edge technology within a nationwide rehabilitation leader.

You will evaluate speech and language needs, develop personalized plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve communication outcomes for patients in our inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (ASHA) completed or in good standing.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
