Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evidence-based therapy to patients across inpatient rehabilitation units. You will evaluate communication disorders, develop personalized plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to restore swallowing and speech functions.

The role requires current state licensure, CCC, CPR, and a master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required; CCC must be current or in process per client policies.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, orBachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
