Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient rehab setting. You will develop personalized treatment plans and monitor patient progress, adjusting therapy as needed to maximize outcomes.

The role requires state licensure, CCC, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A master’s degree is preferred, or a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
