Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and deliver speech-language therapy for patients. You will assess communication needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor progress in a supportive inpatient setting.

The role requires SLP licensure, CCC, and CPR certification; a Master’s degree is preferred or a Bachelor’s with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as an SLP.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and develop personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and outcomes.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the way.
