Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join the team at the Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Conshohocken. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language challenges, developing personalized plans and monitoring progress in a supportive inpatient setting.

The role requires state licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• State licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) is required.
• CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; Bachelor + field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech therapy plans.
• Identify issues and modify treatment as needed.
• Track, document and report patient progress and outcomes.
• Celebrate patient victories and support functional communication gains.
