Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is hosting a Speech Pathologist opportunity at a hiring event. Meet with a hiring manager on site at Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Wesley Chapel, 26640 Silver Maple Pkwy, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544.

You will evaluate, tailor, and document speech and language therapy plans, ensure licensure and CCC, and contribute to our nationwide post-acute care leadership with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
