Job summary

Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to conduct patient evaluations, develop care plans, and administer prescribed therapies. The SLP will collaborate with referring physicians to optimize patient function and ensure accurate billing for services.

The role also includes supervising support staff and participating in CQI activities to uphold high standards of patient care within our facility.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional qualifications required for speech-language pathology as prescribed by law.
• Experience in patient evaluations and care planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop care plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions as prescribed by a physician.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to maximize patient function.
• Supervise support staff (OT/PT Aide, etc.) and ensure accurate submission of patient charges.
• Participate in CQI and performance improvement activities.
