Job summary

The SLP will conduct video swallow assessments in Radiology, collaborate with the care team, supervise trainees, and participate in continuing education.

• Plans and implements individual treatment programs for all ages.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient evaluations of speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Establishes and carries out treatment programs and evaluates progress.
• Educates staff, patients, and families about speech pathology objectives.
• Confers with physicians to integrate treatment with other care.
• Manages patient scheduling to maximize efficiency and reduce cancellations.
• Supervises Rehabilitation Aides and Student SLPs; documents outcomes.
