Job summary

Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech, language, cognition, and swallowing services to residents.

You will work within our therapy program to develop individualized treatment plans and maintain high standards of patient care. Join a collaborative team with supportive leadership and opportunities to supervise assistants and students as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
• Valid state Speech Language Pathologist license.
• ASHA CCC‑SLP certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to patients and maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients.
• Conduct screening, evaluation, and development of initial and ongoing treatment plans; discharge planning.
• Supervise assistants and rehab techs as needed; participate in interdisciplinary team activities and care conferences.
