Job summary

MissionCare at Bennington, Vermont, is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. You will evaluate, plan, direct and implement therapy to restore function and promote independence, working with patients to reach their highest level of communication and swallowing abilities.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, families and other therapists, maintain accurate records, and participate in staff education.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure in Vermont.
• Strong clinical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate treatment effectiveness; recommend changes to physicians when appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families based on identified learning needs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in speech therapy modalities.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with policies.
• Collaborate with care teams to support patient outcomes.
