Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders to improve patient quality of life.

You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and contribute to program development, while working with a multidisciplinary team to meet departmental goals and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program.
• California Speech-Language Pathology licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Clinical competence in Speech Language Pathology.
• Preferred: NICU experience; healthcare setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with speech, swallowing, cognitive disorders per guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for referred patients and implement individual treatment plans.
• Develop or upgrade treatment programs/protocols in collaboration with team.
• Maintain professional communication with care team (SBAR) and management.
• Ensure timely, complete medical record documentation and billing per standards.
